SERVICE

My professional service record for Indiana University, particularly the Kokomo campus, as well as to the community in general, demonstrates my strong and enthusiastic belief in service.  I believe that the combination of my diverse cultural, and academic experience can enhance IUK's endeavors. I see myself as an active participant not a passive observer.  The best way to maintain and to further develop one's experience is to integrate this experience with academic and community-minded activities which encourage positive interaction and participation.  The following is a brief summary of my service in these activities:
 
Service to IUK: 
Participated in several university councils and faculty senate committees. In all of these committees, I share my ideas and offer suggestions that I feel might help.

Service to the Community:

Community:
My service to the community in both a professional and an informative capacity demonstrates my active participation beyond the immediate parameters of IUK.

Informative Capacity: 
Presentations about the history, health, social practices, and cultural traditions of Middle Eastern countries.
 
Professional Capacity:
1- Judge regional science fairs
2- Presentation of science seminars for local schools
3- Teaching arranged / correspondence courses.
